Many residents in our communities have pets that live in their homes. We just want to remind tenants that pets must be secured from staff while completing work in your home.

Securing your pet(s) means moving them to another room, placing them in a carrier, or keeping them on a leash.

But my pet is friendly

Keeping pets away from work being performed in your home keeps them and OCH staff safe. It is especially important if you are going to be away from your home while the work is being completed. Even the friendliest pets can be unpredictable when a stranger is in their home.

What happens if your pet is loose in the home

Staff will leave and reschedule the work for when you are able to secure your pet.

To submit a work order, please call our 24/7 Call Centre at 613-731-1182, and select Option 2 for maintenance. You can also submit non-urgent work orders by creating a My Home account: www.och-lco.ca/my-home/
