On September 28, OCH’s Board of Directors approved the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. We want to thank all of the tenants who participated in the consultations. This plan will guide OCH forward and shape how we will continue to support tenants.

Over the next four years, we are committed to building more affordable homes and preserving the ones we have, providing exceptional service, growing our partnerships to better meet your needs and growing the OCH team to meet demands in a timelier manner.

But why does this matter to you?

Because it serves our core priority: You. Our tenants. Our strategic plan clearly outlines the path forward and our focus on providing affordable, and safe homes. Together, with help from our partners, OCH will continue delivering a great housing experience through exceptional service in every community.

What does that mean?

At OCH, our buildings are more than a home. We are always looking for ways to preserve our home with sustainable construction. We also aim to address the needs of all tenants and will continue working to foster safer, more inclusive communities.

Partnerships

We serve a diverse tenant population. We know that tenants are facing new challenges with the rising cost of living and some tenants are dealing with increasingly complex needs. We are working hard with our partners to develop a better support system, to improve the quality of life for each tenant.

Safety

Your safety remains our top priority. We remain committed to proactively supporting community safety, building and nurturing relationships with you, and bringing tenants together.

Getting involved

Every day, we work with community leaders, like tenant volunteers, Community House staff and partner organizations. We are continuously looking for fun and engaging activities for neighbours to meet, building community.
