Volunteer Project: REDBLACKS Player to Bring Fresh New Partnership to Benefit Tenants

Did you know? Dan Basambombo, a linebacker with the Ottawa REDBLACKS, was an OCH Tenant.  

That is why he decided to give back to OCH communities by offering pressure washing services in 10 communities, starting with the senior’s community at 160 Charlotte St.   

Dan is the Founder and CEO of a phone application that allows users to find and reserve parking spots in garages and lots when he’s not on the football field.  

He and his team members will pressure wash ground floor windows in 10 communities over July.   

Dan had this to say about why this project was important to him.  

“Giving back to the community has always been second nature to me. I believe that everyone has the power to make this world a better place,” he said. “My platform, as a professional athlete and as a business owner, allows me to inspire and give back to the community that once embraced me when I arrived. Being able to give back to OCH by creating jobs and keeping our communities clean with my pressure washing services is another great achievement of mine.”
